Cecil

The suite pays homage to the English writer and journalist Cecil Roberts, who lived in Alassio in the 1950s and 1960s and who in 1955 dedicated the historical novel Portal to Paradise to the Ligurian town.

Roberts, a friend of Ruth Hanbury, was a guest at Villa della Pergola several times.
