Welcome to the room dedicated to János Vaszary, a Hungarian painter and graphic artist who lived between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

After studying in Munich and Paris, where he frequented the "Fauves", over the course of his life he spent long periods in Alassio, attracted by the climate and environment of Alassio which inspired him for his art. Master of a generation, he was one of the most lively innovators of Hungarian painting.

As evidence of his stays in the Ligurian town, there are numerous paintings and pencil works that portray the beach and the surroundings of Alassio.
