Lewis
This room is dedicated to the Scottish Greek scholar Lewis Campbell, who after long years at the University of St. Andrew in Scotland, moved to Alassio where he was one of the major supporters of the Alassio English Library.
The room enjoys a suggestive view of the park and a large Tuscan-style cypress grove, from which you can see the profile of the Gallinara island emerging from the blue sea. The room is on two levels and is equipped with two bathrooms.
On the first floor there is a welcoming sitting room, while on the upper floor there is the comfortable and quiet bedroom. On the walls there are some plaster casts depicting the friezes of the Parthenon, busts of Greek philosophers, French prints depicting Plato's myths and, in the small library, works on the history and culture of Alassio, the Riviera and classical literature.
