The Nove Restaurant of Villa della Pergola Relais Châteaux in Alassio confirms its level of excellence and faces the 2024 season ready to conquer new goals.

Last in chronological order was the award of the two Cappelli (hats), with a score of 16.50 out of 20, in the Guida dell'Espresso directed this year by Andrea Grignaffini.

On the same occasion, from the stage of the National Theater of Milan, Nove was awarded the prestigious "Special Award for the best Vegetarian and Vegan proposal" for the "Vegetable Garden" tasting menu.

A special award, received in front of an audience where the best of our country's restaurant world was present, which places Nove in a "magic double dozen of 24 people who represent the best of Italy at this precise moment and who in a specific area is an excellence", which includes names such as Niko Romito, Massimo Bottura, Carlo Cracco and iconic places such as Da Vittorio or Villa Crespi.

The cuisine of the Nove in the dishes that make up "Orto" has managed to interpret and enhance "the most ancient and precious raw materials that come from our land and become an interpretation of choices and lifestyles".

It is the confirmation of the success of the Orto Rampante project, our agricultural company which stands on the land adjacent to Villa della Pergola and which supplies us with plant products in quantity, allowing us to supply precious raw materials at real 0 cm and which fully reflects the richness and variety of our territory.

Our 'Orto' tasting menu offers guests a complete and immersive culinary experience: the unique opportunity to taste the products of our farm combined with the flavors of our lush gardens. An intense and enveloping sensorial journey is created: at Nove, in fact, guests are surrounded by the beauty and scents of the Gardens and find these same essences expertly transformed into the dishes we offer."

The cuisine also masterfully draws from the Gardens of Villa della Pergola, awarded as "The most beautiful park in Italy", for fruits, citrus fruits, edible flowers and aromatic herbs.

“These ideals and these ideas of interpretation of vegetables, of the world of the vegetable garden and greenery, are the maximum”: this was Sergio Fessia's motivation at the time of awarding the award on behalf of OrtoBra Gourmet, a project that aims to select the best fruit and vegetable products and the control of related production.
